source-Elastixphonebook.php data source works with the Elastix distribution of Asterisk only, specificaly looking up numbers in the Elastix phonebook, much as the Asterisk Phonebook data source looks up numbers in Asterisk Phonebook.

This data source is NOW AVAILABLE within the Superfecta v 2.2.X module's built in data source update function. Be sure and check it out!

Data Source Infobel Has Been Updated to correct failures.¶

This is a recommended update, and all users of this data source are urged to apply the update.

Has been updated, and is now available in the built in live update function of the Caller ID Superfecta module.

The Superfecta Winunciator for Windows has been updated, and is now available in the online files download area.

No special treatment or processes are required for either upgrades or new installs. No underlying compent changes have occurred in this release.

In this release, several improvements have been made, concering project appearance, keyboard based controls, and background tasks while speaking.

Note: The send-to-winunciator data source only works in the debug mode in Superfecta Module versions 2.2.2 and earllier. Superfecta version 2.2.3 is required for actual use of this companion set (Data source and Windows EXE.) Superfecta 2.2.3 is available in the files download area.

I am pleased to announce the immediate release and availability of the caller ID Superfecta module for FreePBX version 2.2.3.

Scope of Release
In version 2.2.3, several minor bugs were addresses -- and support for the new output only data source functionality has been included. As of this release, there are now 33 data sources -- those that collect data, and those that announced data through various external methods.

Upon upgrading from previous versions of caller ID Superfecta, all your previous data sources, and their settings should be retained. Note: Some data sources may have different configuration requirements after upgrade than they did before. It’s a good idea to click through each of your selected data sources and make sure that any required configuration items are present, and set as you desire.

"Send to" Data Source Functionality
The Ability to send caller ID data to sources outside the PBX or telephones connected to it has been growing steadily in the forums for the last 30 days or so. The first data source created to send caller ID in this way was a data source to send the caller ID information to a running occurrence of the program XBMC. Since then several others have been added:

These "send only" data sources allow users to send their caller ID information to a wide variety of third-party programs or processes.

The Win-nunciator
The Win-nunciator is a little different than the other sources mentioned above. The Win-nunciator data source is designed to work with a companion Windows program called the Superfecta Win-nunciator. The Superfecta Win-nunciator is a lightweight Windows program (less than 10 K. in memory when running), that uses the Microsoft speech API (SAPI) to verbally speak the caller ID name and telephone number at any Windows workstation. The Windows Superfecta Win-nunciator program should be just right to meet several kinds of needs. The Win-nunciator also displays the textual caller ID number and caller ID name while speaking it. To use the "send to Winnunciator" data source, be sure and download the companion Win-nunciator executable setup program, located in the regular Superfecta download repository.

Minimum Requirements
As the caller ID Superfecta system evolves, changes are made to support new functionality. As an example, the new "send to" only data sources require the Superfecta version 2.2.3 module to operate correctly. Effective with this release, data sources with known prerequisites such as this will have those prerequisites listed in the flyby help that pops up when you hover over the data source name.

The Data Source Winunciator and its Companion windows EXE program have been updated, and are now available in the online repositories.

If upgrading from a previous version, it is reccomended that you run the un-installer from the previous windows.exe before installing the new one.

The new data source file is available in the live update respository.

I am pleased to announce the immediate availability and release of the caller ID Superfecta Winunciator system.

The Superfecta Winunciator system is a combination of a new data source for the caller ID Superfecta module, and a lightweight companion Windows program to be installed on any version of Windows, Windows 2000 or newer.

To use the system first, make sure you're running version 2.2.0 or newer of the caller ID Superfecta module for FreePBX.

Then, using the live update function, download the "send-to-Winunciator" data source, and configure it according to the instructions provided in the user interface.

Lastly, download the Winunciator setup program - and run it on your Windows computer. Once the installation finishes, launch and configure the application.

Don't forget, it may be necessary to open the firewall on your Windows workstation for the Port you determine to use with the system.

Thanks to PBX in a flash forum user "Cyrano" for bringing up this exciting idea and convincing us to go ahead with it.

source-Metrostat_US.php data source is a pay service, and requires registration. Service is bound by IP address. (May have issues if your PBX is not on STATIC IP.)

NOTE: This data source should be used with Superfecta Version 2.2.2 or later for best performance. It is compatible with Superfecta v2.2.0 and greater.

Data source-Send_to_XBMC.php sends both Caller Number and Caller Name data to a computer running XBMC.

This source is an output-only source. It can not look anything up, it only sends whatever has been looked up by the data sources before it on the list. It should be one of the last, perhaps THE last data source on your list.

NOTE: This data source should be used with Superfecta Version 2.2.3 or later for best performance. It is compatible with Superfecta v2.2.0 and greater.
