Description
Allow the Caller ID Superfecta to update itself (core module) in the same way it can update its own data sources.
This could be accomplished by an additional checkmark box in the ui, and updated using the same logic used in the data sources.
Why? FreePBX does not have facility to allow third party modules located in thrid party SVN's to get updates in the same way that FreePBX modules do.

Is there not a way to have superfecta included in the extended freepbx repository as this one is easier to petition for?
Did someone try to submit it to them already?

I have had several fairly lengthy email exchanges with Phillippe (FreePBX) about this topic. The short answer is that we have explored what it takes get involved in one of their extended repos, and we wont be doing it any time soon. There are, in my view, to many compromises that would need to be made - without any real benefit to the users or developers.
